Cavansite on Heulandite

A beautiful specimen of Cavansite from India featuring a gorgeous greenish-blue color, well-crystallized 1.5 cm aggregate aesthetically flaring off Heulandite on basalt matrix. Smaller groups of Cavansite can be seen on the piece, but the main group is what really matters and one rarely sees groups of Cavansite like this sitting so high above the matrix. A very showy piece of the beautiful and often under appreciated material. The best Cavansite specimens in the world come from this locality, and if it wasn't for Wagholi, very few people would even recognize Cavansite as a species. This is a good quality piece, and certainly aesthetic to boot!
