Item Description

Catapleite is a rare species from the unusual deposits of Greenland and is very seldom on the market. The matrix is covered with glassy, translucent blades to 1.2 cm. Ex Jean Behier Collection, a prominent collector and mineralogist associated most often with the development of the mining industry in Madagascar from 1953 until his death in 1965 and the Alain Martaud Collection.
