Item Description

This specimen features a lustrous, dramatically perched spray of catapleiite crystals (1 cm across, BARELY) on a feldspathoid mineral. Catapleiite typically contains many inclusions, making the pale yellow, gemmy crystals seen here exceptionally rare. This is a very well-formed, parallel growth pseudo-hexagonal cluster, with a beautifully balanced shape that exemplifies the best qualities of this rare mineral species and a desirable combo.
