Item Description
Older cassiterites from this Yunnan Province locale in China are often forgotten, in the mad scramble to own black opaque crystals from PingWu in Sichuan! However, although smaller, these are gemmier and in the past produced some pretty good cut stones, as well as specimens! Here is a fine miniature with sharp, lustrous, gemmy crystals to nearly 1.5 cm all around. Impossible to find on the Chinese market today, in this style...it is late 90s we suspect.
