A striking, highly sculptural and rare, old-time, "wood tin" cassiterite specimen from the Art Soregaroli Collection. The dramatic elongated piece looks like a bubbly, botryoidal floral arrangement. The sparkly rust-red botryoidal "bulbs" at the top grade down to gray at the "stalk". Complete all-around and pristine. A most impressive and rare specimen from Zacatecas. Seldom available, as most such pieces are smelted down for the rich tin ore.
