Item Description
A classic specimen of "Wood Tin" Cassiterite from the well known occurrence at Llavisa. This piece was personally acquired by Brian Kosnar in 1999 on a trip to Bolivia. The color combination of very dark coffee brown on the exterior and the soft caramel-golden "core" is great for the locality. The rounded exterior and slight internal "banding" is reminiscent of the best pieces from this locality. If you collet Cassiterite, don't miss out on this one, it's a great piece for what it is.
