A rare and fine small cabinet of lustrous, bubbly, botryoidal, chocolate-brown to gray-brown cassiterite from Bolivia. Cassiterite of this botryoidal style is uncommon today, though it came from a few historic localities in the past. It was great for smelting, and so much of it was indeed, melted down. Probably older material. Rich and hefty tin ore at 291 grams.
