Item Description

Many of these supremely glassy brown cassiterite twins, to about 1.8 cm, have striking areas of gemmy, light brown color. This is a very uncommon and excellent large specimen with rich coverage from this obscure mine from the Matioli Collection. The large crystals in the center are pristine and the noted periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction to this rich and large rarity.
