Mineral specimens from this obscure Mongolia locale are rarely on the market. This textbook, tetragonal, twinned, deep chocolate-brown to black crystal has highly lustrous faces with striking differences! Most of the faces are parallel scalloped with some faces having classic stepped-growth. All of the faces have gorgeous areas of gemmy, reddish-orange fire. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Herb valued this rarity at $300, five or more years ago.
