Cassiterite twins from the famous St. Agnes District are seldom as good as this. An impressive, 1.6 cm, splendent, sharp, jet-black, heart-shaped cassiterite twin is elegantly perched atop a dense field of smaller crystals on the sculptural matrix. A small ding on the left side of the twin and periphery wear to the crystal field are noted, but have minimal impact to the fine aesthetic quality of this excellent old-timer from the Herb Obodda dealer stock.
