Intergrown, glistening, sharp, twinned, tapered cassiterite crystals form an adorable rosette on this outstanding thumbnail from Brazil. Cassiterites of this quality are rare from this pegmatite and from the many Minas Gerais pegmatite localities. Pegmatitic cassiterites in general, are rare, and more lustrous in many cases.
