Cassiterite specimens from this very obscure locale in Mongolia are rarely on the market. This striking tetragonal crystal, with pronounced form is lustrous, chocolate-brown with distinctive stepped-growth faces. Adding even more character are the gorgeous area of gemmy, reddish-orange fire. Yes, there is contacting, but this remains an outstanding, sharp and very rare example of the species and locale.
