Item Description
This piece is an early example from the Dayu Mine, not a usual source for cassiterite. The cassiterites are sharp and highly lustrous crystals are measuring 1.7cm, rarely seen in Dayu: however, this is a good example of twinned, translucent specimen from this very limited find. Ex: Jingnan (Tom) Zhang Coll., purchased in China
