A SHARP and super lustrous and mostly gemmy Cassiterite crystal is placed perfectly on a plate of matrix covered in Quartz crystals from 3mm to 3cm in length. The gorgeous, smoky, transparent to translucent, single, barrel-shaped crystal measures 1.8 x 1.5 x 1.3cm and is perched aesthetically on the quartz plate as displayed in the photos. A beautiful matrix cassiterite from China, from the scarcer locality compared to Sichuan. This is an old classics, and stunningly displayed on matrix. Valued $1000-1500. Quite a bit better in person.
