Item Description

Wheal Pendarves is one of the newest tin mines in Cornwall, starting production in 1967 and closing in 1984. This showy and excellent combination specimen features a dense covering of splendent, translucent, well-striated, cassiterite crystals strikingly accented with numerous tinted quartz spikes to 1.1 cm. Fine and uncommon combination material from this locale. Ex John Fisk and A.K. Borland Collections. Herb Obodda dealer stock and valued by Herb at $400, five or more years ago.
