Item Description
Cassiterites from Huanuni are not easy to obtain. The mine at Huanuni is one of the largest tin mines in Bolivia and is a real sight to see. This mine is better known for its phosphate species, but some of the more unique and attractive Cassiterite specimens are found there. This specimen is comprised of several superb quality, sharp, lustrous, black crystals measuring up to 6 mm with characteristic Pyrite. I obtained this piece a around the year 2000, and it is one of the better pieces from that I've had to offer from Huanuni. Don't miss out on this unique rarity.
