Our Chinese sources have furnished us with, on occasion, some carved odds n ends. here is another striking example of the artistry and mineral bounty of their country. This is intricately carved and polished quartz in the form of a beautifully dressed and robed Hindu god or goddess. The detail on the front and back is excellent. Art in stone.
