Item Description

An exquisite work of lapidary art, composed of a single amethyst flower, set perfectly into a balanced flower of carved quartz. It was purchased in Idar decades ago and has long been in the private home collection of Idar carvings belonging to dealer and collector, Kerith Graeber of Fallbrook, CA. The stones are of Brazilian origin, but the carving was done in the world's premiere gem center of Idar in Germany. 63 carats.
