Item Description

An exceptionally sharp and well-formed large carlsbad-twinned microcline crystal from the St. Peters Dome area. The lustrous, flesh-pink crystal has a pristine termination and part of the crystal is doubly terminated. The noted periphery wear to the crystal field in the front and mostly out-of-sight on the side and back are certainly only very modest detractions to this impressive and rare in this quality microcline from the Bob Trimingham Collection. A MUST for the Colorado or species collector. Probably older material, but no proof. Value??
