Carletonite (Type Locality)

Item Description

This is one of the great classics of the locality. Mount Saint-Hilaire is one of the world's most significant localities, and produces many "best in the world" specimens of a lot of minerals, including killer carletonites (unique to here). This glassy, translucent piece is an attractive bi-color tetragonal crystal mostly a rich blue with a creamy/colorless "rind" on one side.
