Item Description
This species belongs to the Cyanotrichite Group, and according to mindat.org, is more closely related to Carbonatecyanotrichite than Cyanotrichite. This specimen is from the famous locality at Piesky in Slovakia, which is best known for its secondary ore minerals. It features sky blue spherical aggregates of Camerolaite gently sprinkled on matrix. A hard to find specimen of this rare copper species. A great opportunity for species collectors to check one off on their list.
