Item Description
One of the early Mineralogical Record issues, 1977, focusing on a specific locality - California. Articles include Gold, the Benitoite Gem Mine, the Himalaya Mine and reopening, LA County Museum, the Best of San Diego County and other localities. It is one of the earlier issues with some color photography, a nice bonus. In good condition with a creased and slightly torn front cover. A classic and desirable California MR issue. These usually sell for over $100 when they turn up, and are valued for the old information on this important locale.
