A wonderful and very hard to find specimen featuring the beautiful rare hydrated lead copper carbonate sulfate, Caledonite in the form of rich electric blue, flattened, straited "sword"-shaped crystals measuring up to a few mm sitting on matrix. Certainly the Caledonite crystals are the most well-known mineral from this locality, and when you find terminated crystals like this, it's such a treat! Contrasting whitish / silver colored Leadhillite is present on the piece as well. Great quality, and highly sought after on the market today. Valued at $500 in the inventory.
