Item Description

A very colorful, very rare and old-time combination specimen from this mine in Iran, that closed in 1959. Vugs and veins of scintillating, gemmy, royal-blue, caledonite lathes are very colorfully complimented by vugs lined with sparkling, turquoise-blue, aurichalcite microcrystals. Caledonite is a rare lead-copper sulfate. Rare, rich and desirable, old-time combination material from this obscure locality. Ex Howard Belsky Collection.
