Caledonite

Item Description

A rich coverage of strong greenish-blue colored crystallized Caledonite with a bit of associated stark blue Azurite or Linarite (?) on host rock matrix. It is NOT common to see so many crystals (albeit micros) of Caledonite from this locality. They look beautiful under the microscope, and we did our best to illustrate their quality in the micro photos. The piece comes from an old East Coast collection, and is accompanied by a label from noted and recently deceased mineral dealer, Larry Conklin of New York City. What is the value of such a rich and hard to find micro specimen from this well known locality?
