Calcite with Rosasite

A showy thumbnail sized specimen of the beautiful old Calcite and Rosasite combos from the famous Ojuela Mine. The piece is hosts superb quality, very sharp, lustrous, gemmy, colorless compressed / modified rhombs of Calcite measuring up to 1.3 cm across sitting atop a layer of velvety blue-green radiating aggregates of Rosasite on gossan matrix. I really love how the individual Calcites are well-isolated and not jumbled together. There are a few cleaves to a couple of the lesser Calcites, but overall the piece is in fine shape. It's a three-dimensional thumbnail and an eye-catching example of this well-known material from this renowned mine.
