Calcite with Quartz

Item Description

This specimen came to us labeled as coming from "Brumin Peak" in Switzerland. We cannot find a listing for that locality in any database, so if anybody out there has an idea where this specimen is from, please let us know, so we can update the listing. With that said, this is a nice Alpine specimen featuring compressed, translucent, sharp, well-formed, colorless to pale golden colored crystals of Calcite associated with a few highly lustrous, slight "milky" Quartz prisms. One of the Quartz crystals features a single crystal that is surrounded by several smaller crystals, almost similar to a fortress or castle turret.
