Item Description
A lovely small cabinet / large minature display specimen from the San Martín Mine, featuring fine, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, smoky colored scalenohedral crystals of Calcite measuring up to 1.7 cm, which have beautiful sparkling metallic inclusion of golden Pyrite, creating a very pleasing effect. If you look closeley, you can see some of the Calcites have a very thin "phantom" zoning around the exterior edges of the crystals. No major damage that I can see, and the piece displays quite well on its own without a base or clay.
