Item Description

A beautiful, gemmy, rather lustrous, soft yellow colored trigonal crystal group of gemmy Calcite crystals featuring "phantom"-esque golden Pyrite microcrystals preferentially growing in three straight lines in the shape of a "Mercedes Star". The piece is complete on the top / display side with no major damage, only minor roughness. These came out in the mid to late 2000s, and are seldom seen for sale in today's market.
From the worldwide mineral collection of geologist, Demetrius Pohl (#1889)
