Item Description
This is an aesthetic, classic, eye-catching specimen of the famous Brushy Creek Calcites featuring smoky colored, well-formed, "dogtooth"-shaped crystals with sharp, well-formed faces, partially coated by beautiful rainbow iridescent Marcasite. The largest Calcite crystal measures 3.3 cm long. The piece is in great shape, and the only real damage is around the periphery where the piece was removed from the pocket wall. Classic and highly distinctive material, that was at one point fairly plentiful on the market, but is now rather hard to find.
