Item Description

A classic specimen of the famous Brushy Creek Calcites featuring smoky colored, well-formed, "dogtooth"-shaped crystals with sharp, well-formed faces which are partially coated by beautiful rainbow iridescent Chalcopyrite. The largest Calcite crystal measures 2.0 cm long. No real damage that I can see (with the exception of the periphery where the piece was removed from the pocket wall), and the specimen is quite showy and three-dimensional. Classic material, that was at one point fairly plentiful on the market, but is now rather hard to find.
