Item Description
A wonderful example of these distinctive and classic Calcites from the Brushy Creek Mine featuring eye-catching smoky colored, well-formed, "dogtooth"-shaped crystals with sharp, well-formed faces which are partially coated by beautiful rainbow iridescent Chalcopyrite. There is no matrix to speak of, and the largest Calcite crystal measures 4.7 cm long. I can't find any damage with the naked eye, and the specimen is highly displayable and three-dimensional. Classic material, that was at one point fairly plentiful on the market, but is now rather hard to find.
