Item Description

These beautiful Calcites are some of the most iconic minerals from any locality in the Viburnum Trend. This aesthetic display piece is a classic specimen of the famous Brushy Creek Calcites featuring eye-catching smoky colored, well-formed, "dogtooth"-shaped crystals with sharp, well-formed faces which are partially coated by beautiful rainbow iridescent Chalcopyrite. The largest Calcite crystal measures 6.6 cm long. No real damage that I can see (with the exception of the periphery/back where the piece was removed from the pocket wall), and the specimen is highly displayable and three-dimensional. Classic material, that was at one point fairly plentiful on the market, but is now rather hard to find.
