Calcite with Hemimorphite (ex Willard Wulff Collection)

A lovely thumbnail specimen from the famous Ojuela Mine featuring GEM quality, razor-sharp, highly lustrous, colorless, scalenohedral crystals of Calcite associated with a bladed / "fan"-like group of Hemimorphite measuring 3 mm on Limonite matrix. Very good quality up close and hard to find on the market today. This piece comes from the collection of Willard W. Wulff (1904-1998) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a prominent figure and collector of Colorado minerals. Wulff was one of the founding members of the Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society in 1936.
