Calcite with Galena, Dolomite & Chalcopyrite

Item Description

An aesthetic and classic calcite combination specimen from the famous Sweetwater Mine. An essentially pristine (super trivial bruising), 4.8 cm, gemmy to translucent, amber scalenohedron with striking stepped-growth faces is very jaunitly set on the limestone matrix plate. The plate is covered with tiny sparkly dolomite rhombs, scattered nifty galena cuboctahedrons and a light sprinkling of tiny iridescent chalcopyrites. Very showy and excellent combination material.
