Item Description
An attractive piece from the famous Herja Mine in Romania featuring beautiful, translucent, pearly "rosette"-esque groups of Calcite measuring up to 2.3 cm, sitting on bright metallic, silvery-grey Galena and nearly black Sphalerite matrix. The Calcites have a bit of iron on the surface (possibly precipitated from the underlain Sphalerite).
