Calcite with Duftite (classic locale)

Item Description

An adorable, 3-sided, vertical, miniature cluster of classic style calcite rhombohedrons from the renowned and extinct Tsumeb Mine. The intergrown, sharp, very glassy and lustrous, colorless calcite rhombs are transparent to translucent and are dramatically accented with classic stepped-growth faces and blebs of desirable of green Duftite, both on and included-in the crystals. The striking doubly terminated calcite near the top is 2.2 cm across. Ex John Dagenais Collection, a well-known Canadian collector. A really cute combination example of the species from the famed locale.
