Classic and highly-sought after combination from Tsumeb for the color and sparkle, but seldom seen in this size and quality... A very important Tsumeb calcite! The sharp rhombs of Calcite are up to 1.2 cm on edge, and they are completely coated with Duftite. What makes this small-cabinet piece even more special is that the Duftites are then sprinkled with hundreds, maybe even a thousand, mm-size little gems of transparent and lustrous Dioptase. These are distributed with amazing balance across the specimen, giving it a real visual harmony. The Calcite has a rich, deep-orange fluorescence. This is an excellent and aesthetic combination for this great mine, and it is even better in person since the emerald green on olive green has much more sparkle and pizazz in real life.
