Item Description
A beautiful combination specimen from the famous locality at Los Lamentos featuring a coverage of off-white colored Calcite which are overgrowing attractive "rosettes" of sparkling dark brown colored Descloizite on host rock matrix. I love how the Calcite gently envelops the little flowers of Descloizite, but they are still exposed enough where they look like little eyes peeking out. The back of the piece has a slight amount of reddish-brown iron oxide creating a lovely contrast against the Calcite. Overall the piece is in very good condition, and it's one of the few we've had to offer from this historic locality.
