Item Description

This is a classic example of Calcite included with Copper from one of the most historic and classic mining districts in the United States. This piece is a well-formed, gemmy, colorless scalenohedral crystal of Calcite included with bright peach-orange (un-oxidized) native Copper. The piece is in good shape, but the back edge of the termination has a small cleave. These specimens are becoming more and more difficult to find on the market today, and this is a good overall specimen of this world-famous material from Michigan.
