Calcite with Celsetine (ex Jim Robison Collection)

Item Description

A beautiful and sculptural association specimen of Calcite with Celestine from the Edward Kraemer & Sons Inc. Quarry. The notably sharp, well-formed, gemmy, golden scalenohedral crystals of Calcite are all pristine. The Calcite measures 1.8 cm tip to tip and is doubly-terminated. Addtionally, the Calcites are pierced by prismatic soft blue crystals of translucent Celestine for a great touch. This is a really showy thumbnail and great overall specimen from this locality. The piece comes from the collection of noted carbonate collector, Jim Robison, and was originally part of the James L. Moyer collection.
