Item Description
A beautiful and sculptural association specimen of Calcite with Celestine from the Pugh Quarry. The notably sharp, well-formed, gemmy, golden scalenohedral crystals of Calcite are nearly all pristine. The largest Calcite measures 2.8 cm tip to tip and is doubly-terminated. Addtionally, prismatic soft blue crystals of translucent Celestine can be seen on the top / upper portion of the specimen for a great touch. This is a really showy miniature and great overall specimen from this locality. The piece comes with a Hawthorneden label that states it was from the collection of Bo Malyczewsky of Port Hope, Ontario, who purchased the piece in 1976.
