Calcite with Celadonite

This is a exceptional and highly unusual shaped specimen of a water-clear, glassy luster, straw-yellow Calcite from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The pristine 9.8 cm hexagonal crystal with a flat termination is sitting on a contrasting green grass bed of Celadonite. The main crystal has a number of associated smaller attractive tapered and elongated Calcite spires as well as a late stage very unique calcite crystal "stubble" across the termination faces. I have only seen a handful of these calcites of this crystal form and superior quality from this famous location. If you collect calcites, don't sleep on this piece. It is superb!
