Item Description

A lovely specimen of Calcite from the world-famous Kelly Mine featuring white to colorless, sharp, lustrous semi-radial aggregates sitting on a layer of greenish-blue Aurichalcite on matrix. Good quality and very attractive up close. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#824). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
