Item Description

A lovely association specimen from this soon-to-be-classic deposit in Inner Mongolia. This attractive small cabinet sized piece hosts several compressed, white "poker chip" style crystals of Calcite measuring up to 2.1 cm, associated with robust, silvery-bronze colored crystals of Arsenopyrite measuring up to 2.7 cm, showing small "teeth"-like multi-terminations in certain spots. Minor Sphalerite is present on the back of the piece. I love the stark contrast of the gentle white Calcites against the metallic Arsenopyrite. The piece is in great shape overall, with minor roughness, but largely undamaged.
