Calcite with a selective deposition of Mottramite

Tsumeb Calcites vary greatly in their size, habit and colors. This particular style / association is fairly uncommon in my experience from Tsumeb. That's not to say that Calcite with Mottramite is rare, but one really doesn't see a selective deposition like this. The piece features sharp, lustrous, gemmy, nearly colorless modified rhombic crystals of Calcite which have a selective deposition of dark green Mottramite sitting on matrix. The periphery is contacted where the piece was clearly removed from the pocket, but the display face of the piece is in excellent shape. A must have for any Calcite collector or a Tsumeb collector as this will fill a spot in your collection.
