Item Description

This exctinct small zinc mine has had intermittent production from 1901 to its closing in 1974. Specimens of any species are uncommon. This is an impresssive 360-degree cluster of blocky, glassy, translucent, colorless calcite rhombs with interesting preferential coatings of pyrite microcrystals. Pristine, except for a bruise on one corner. Modest pink fluorescence. Rare and excellent material from the Robert Nowakowski Collection.
