An adorable calcite from this famous Colorado locale and the Cynthia Payne Calcite Collection. A fabulous, doubly terminated and twinned, colorless blade crowns this exquisite piece and rests on a striking stacked cluster of opposing flattened rhombs. The tiny sharp pyritohedrons are a super accent to this extreme cutie. Complete all-around and actually in great shape. The large DT crystal is nearly pristine. That's another cleaved crystal attached to one end of the blade. Two spots of very trivial rubbing are noted along the top edge of the large crystal. The back looks almost as good as the front! A MUST for the Colorado or species collector!
