Classic and sculptural calcite scalenohedrons from the famous Sweetwater Mine. All three of the lustrous translucent crystals have fabulous phantoms of an earlier generation of calcite scalenohedrons, that have a chalcopyrite or marcasite coating. Gemmy calcite later overgrew these crystals. Complete all-around and pristine. The superior aesthetics are readily evident on this piece. Ex Tom Wolfe Calcite Collection.
