Item Description

Mineral specimens are RARE from this obscure Wisconsin limestone aggregate quarry. Very glassy, transparent to translucent scalenohedrons, to 4.7 cm, in a jackstraw pattern cover this sculptural large plate. The striking interior phantoms in the larger crystals really add pizzazz to this very fine two-sided rarity. Valued by the former dealer at $395 for rarity and high quality.
